Ousman Faal started the ideation of Skills.gm in August 2019 when he was thinking of a unique business idea. The idea was to build a comprehensive skills directory website for skilled workers in The Gambia so that they can easily be found and hired. He launched Skills.gm directory on 1st January 2020, start a digital training hub to teach multimedia courses in March 2020 and after an unfortunate hit during the Covid-19 Pandemic, Skills.gm is now a success, with 100+ members and a recent selection as for the MSII Incubator Cohort 2.
